HOUSE RULES
Preamble
These House Rules are available at all times at reception or on the Hotel’s website. Any person entering the establishment is deemed to have read and accepted these rules without reservation. The General Terms & Conditions of Sale and these House Rules form an integral contractual framework of the accommodation agreement. Any reservation implies full acceptance of these provisions. The Hotel undertakes to provide each guest with the highest level of care in order to ensure a quality stay.
1.Purpose
These rules define the safety and conduct regulations applicable to all guests and visitors of the Hotel. Any breach of these rules may result in exclusion from the establishment without refund, unless otherwise provided by law.
2.Reservation and stay
Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 12:00 PM on the day of departure. Late check-outs may only be authorised by reception, subject to availability, and may incur an additional charge. If a late check-out is granted until 1:00 PM, any stay beyond this time will be charged as an additional night. A valid ID and bank card guarantee are required upon arrival. Only guests registered at reception may access the suites. Guests may not accommodate more persons than declared at the time of booking. Minors must be accompanied or supervised by a responsible adult.
3.Behaviour and respect for the premises
Calm, discretion and respect for others are required throughout the suites and common areas. Any behaviour disturbing the peace or safety of other guests may result in immediate expulsion. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to Hotel property or to the belongings of other guests. Appropriate attire is required at all times.
4.Safety and fire regulations
In accordance with French Decree No. 2006-1386 of 15 November 2006, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the establishment, including inside the suites. Any violation will result in the following fixed charge: • Smoking / vaping: €500 Any inappropriate triggering of the fire alarm resulting from non-compliance with this prohibition will result in a €250 charge covering reactivation costs, as well as reimbursement of compensation costs incurred for other guests where applicable. For safety reasons, candles, gas appliances, portable stoves or similar equipment are strictly prohibited. Any violation may result in a €150 charge.
5.Alcohol, drugs and disturbances
The introduction and consumption of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the establishment. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and inside the suites, provided it does not disturb the peace and order of the premises. Noise disturbances (loud music, shouting, excessive gatherings) are prohibited, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. The use of personal loudspeakers at high volume is also prohibited whenever it may disturb other occupants.
6.Animals
For the comfort and well-being of our guests, pets are not allowed at Palais Ségurane. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are accepted free of charge in accordance with applicable regulations.
7.Valuables
A safe is available in each suite. The Hotel’s liability is governed by applicable legal provisions. Guests are advised to deposit valuables in the safe. If valuables are not deposited in the safe, the Hotel’s liability in case of loss, theft or damage is limited to €50 per room and per stay. Guests are invited to ensure that their suite door is properly locked when absent.
8.Lost property
Any item left behind by a guest is considered lost property. Reception undertakes to keep such items for a maximum period of one year from the date they are found. After this period, unclaimed items may be donated, handed over to the local authorities or discarded. Valuable items (cash, jewellery, official documents) must be immediately handed to reception and will receive special follow-up. Guests wishing to recover a lost item must contact reception and provide a precise description. The Hotel declines all responsibility for forgotten items left in suites or common areas.
9.Spa
Access to the Spa area is by reservation only. Maximum capacity is limited to eight persons at the same time. Clean swimwear reserved exclusively for spa use is mandatory. A shower is required before using the facilities. Children under 16 are only allowed in the presence of a responsible adult and remain under their exclusive supervision. Any noisy, inappropriate or unhygienic behaviour may result in immediate exclusion without refund. The use of products from outside the spa is prohibited. The establishment cannot be held liable for bodily injury resulting from failure to comply with safety instructions.
10.Private cinema
Access to the cinema room is private and reserved for guests with a prior reservation.
Maximum capacity: seven persons. For everyone’s comfort and safety:

Reservations must be confirmed in advance with reception;

Silence and respect for order must be maintained;

Food and drinks must be consumed respectfully. The Hotel declines all responsibility in case of damage caused by inappropriate behaviour.
11.Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Advance booking is possible but not mandatory.
12.Specific prohibitions
It is prohibited to:

Smoke or vape in suites and common areas;

Modify the layout of the furniture;

Hang laundry from windows;

Bring external visitors without prior authorisation;

Throw objects or liquids out of the windows.
13.Damage / Theft
In the event of damage, deterioration or theft observed in a suite or common area, the Hotel reserves the right to charge repair or replacement costs. Guests are invited to immediately report any malfunction or damage.
14.Fraudulent departure
In accordance with Article 313-5 of the French Criminal Code, leaving without paying constitutes an offence. The Hotel reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings. This offence is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a €7,500 fine in addition to damages.
15.Departure and payment
Any consumption, minibar use, restaurant services or undeclared damage may be charged to the bank card provided upon arrival or left as guarantee. In case of non-payment, the Hotel reserves the right to initiate recovery proceedings.
16.Civil liability / bodily injury
The Hotel declines all responsibility for bodily injury resulting from failure to comply with safety instructions, equipment misuse or inappropriate behaviour. The Hotel’s liability remains governed by applicable law.
17.Video surveillance
For the safety of persons and property, the establishment is under video surveillance in common areas. Recordings are stored for one month and may be consulted by competent authorities where applicable. Any person concerned may exercise their right of access to images concerning them.
18.Personal data (GDPR)
Data collected during booking and stay are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations solely for stay management and Hotel security purposes. Guests have rights of access, rectification and opposition.
19.Internet / Wi-Fi access
The Hotel provides free Wi-Fi access. Guests undertake not to use the network for illegal purposes, including copyright infringement. Guests must also comply with the Hotel’s security policy.
20.Access by Hotel staff
Hotel staff are authorised to access suites for housekeeping, minibar replenishment and hygiene or safety inspections. In emergencies, management reserves the right to access the suite immediately, even in the guest’s absence. Guests may use the “Do Not Disturb” sign; however, for hygiene and safety reasons, access may still occur at least once every 24 hours.
21.Complaints
Any complaint concerning the services must be submitted in writing within eight days after departure.
22.Acceptance of the House Rules
These rules apply to all reservations. Any reservation implies acceptance of the General Terms & Conditions of Sale and these House Rules. Failure to comply may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
